metal-coating applications.
XL-88 Lacquer
Characteristics: Red vinyl solution lacquer
It dries to touch in 15 -20 min. Approx. 1 hr air dry between
coats & min. of 2 hrs air dry after final coat. for faster
time use force air drying 20 min @ 150|F.
for use in masking parts prior to selective plating. It will hold
hairline demarcations through alkali cleaners, acid rinses and
all selective plating cycles. XL-88 can be easily applied
by dip, brush or spray. It is an excellent protective coating
for precision parts in storage or in transit against mechanical
damage or corrosion.
MT-920 MASKANT
Characteristics: Orange reddish liquid. Viscosity * 35-40 cps
Brookfield @ 20rpm; Weight per gallon, approx. 8.0 pounds; Flash
point 25 degrees F., T.C.C. VOC * 5.6 lbs/gal.
MT-920 is a vinyl maskant containing MEK and TOLUENE.
MT-920 is suitable for use in the following: Acid Gold; Indium;
Lead; Electroless Nickel; Palladium; Rhodium; Silver.
MT-1024 PEELABLE MASKANT
Characteristics: Opaque Red; Viscosity * 5000-5500 cps, #5 spindle,
20 rpm; Weight per gallon, approx. 8.0 pounds. Flash point * 24
degrees F. T.C.C.; 4.8# per gallon VOC.
MT-1024 is butyl rubber compound containing toluene and vm&p
naphtha.
Revised formula for better chemical resistance.
MT-1024 is suitable for use in the following: Electroless Nickel
Plating Chemical Milling Hard Coat Anodizing Most acid solutions
except those containing chromium.
MT-1024-1 PEELABLE MASKANT
Characteristics: Color: Green; Viscosity – 5000-5500 cps,

MT-1024-2 is a butyl rubber compound containing parachlorobenzotriflouride,
toluene and naphtha

MT-2350 MASKANT
Characteristics: Deep red opaque, liquid. Viscosity * 2900-3100
cps Brookfield #4 spindle at 75 degrees F; Weight per gallon,
approx. 7.9 pounds; Flash point 25 degrees F., T.C.C. 5.7# per
gallon VOC.
MT-2350 is a dispersion containing MIBK and toluene.

MT-6000WB Waterbased Maskant
Description: MT-6000WB is a hand strippable waterbased coating
which provides protection to steel, aluminum and other metals
as well as plastics during plating cycles and chemical milling
operations.This product contains no VOC*s and is considered nonhazardous.
MT-6000WB can be applied by dipping, spraying or brushing. This
maskant exhibits very good adhesion to highly polished surfaces
MT-7000WB Waterbased Maskant
Description: MT-7000WB is a hand strippable waterbased coating
which provides protection to steel, aluminum and other metals
as well as plastics during plating cycles. This product contains
no VOC’s and is considered nonhazardous. MT-7000WB can be
applied by dipping, spraying or brushing. This maskant exhibits
very good adhesion to highly polished surfaces.
MT-8000 Waterbased Maskant
Description: MT-8000 is a hand strippable waterbased coating which
provides protection to steel, aluminum and other metals as well
as plastics during painting applications. This product contains
no VOC’s and is considered non-hazardous. MT-8000 can be
applied by dipping, spraying or brushing. This maskant exhibits
very good release when applied with sufficient thickness.
MT-2146EF MASKANT REMOVER AND CLEANING
SOLVENT
MT-2146EF is formulated to remove MT-920, MT-2370 and MT-5137
maskants after the masked parts are removed from the plating or
metal finishing solution.
